Multinucleate Cell Angiohistiocytoma: A Case Report and Unique Treatment Consideration

Introduction: Multinucleate cell angiohistiocytoma (MCAH) is a benign, yet exceedingly rare vascular and firbiohistiocytic proliferation. The lesions are typically asymptomatic commonly cosmetically displeasing to patients. 1 Previous reports have demonstrated success in treating MCAH with fractional ablative CO2 laser, argon pulsed dye KTP lasers. 3 scarcity of reported cases may suggest that the lesion misdiagnosed, we report this case highlight characteristic features successful treatment Neodymium YAG laser.
 Case Presentation: A 64-year- old female presented our clinic 1- month history multiple erythematous violaceous on her bilateral hands. were asymptomatic, but for patient. Past medical family was noncontributory. Examination revealed several 2-6 mm well- circumscribed, erythematous, indurated smooth papules dorsal second web space left hand. Shave biopsy consistent MCAH. She initially treated topical steroids twice daily 2 weeks, no improvement. patient received treatments YAG, 4 weeks apart. This discontinued after sessions due dramatic visible improvements regards induration discoloration lesions.
 Discussion: an extremely uncommon lesion, diagnosis made basis clinical examination, histopathologic immunohistochemical analysis lesions. illustrates offers unique consideration
